The school on campus at Faith Home serves preschool students through the sixth grade. The Honduran school year begins the second week in February and concludes in November. Our school consists of classrooms, a library, an office & supply room, a computer lab, bathrooms, and a playground. We currently have forty-eight students attending the Little Angels’ School. Our teachers are dedicated to providing the best education possible. Our staff includes:
Ms Robyn Shoulders - superintendent and English teacher
Mr. Guillermo Torres - principal, 6th grade teacher, & math coach
Mr. Eder Bardales – 5th grade teacher & drama coach
Ms Nadia Bardales – 3rd & 4th grade teacher & music coach
Ms Celenia Marisela – preschool, kindergarten, & first grade & dance coach
Each day the students have a Bible lesson and are instructed in all of the core subjects in Spanish, their heart language. They also have an English class each day. The children enjoy celebrating the Honduran cultural holidays and learning about their country. We teach character development and use a positive behavior approach to classroom management. We plan to take the children on several educational field trips in the near future.
We hope to instill in these children the desire to learn and the value of a good education. One day, these children will be leaving Faith Home. We want them to leave with a solid Christian, educational background, so that they can make a difference in the country of Honduras.
